Faculty Guidance on Writing-In-the-Major Courses
The All-University Writing Committee works with Writing in the Disciplines to help guide Writing in the Major [M] courses. It reports to the WSU Provost.
Its functions include ...
- formulating policy recommendations concerning university-wide writing programs for submission to Faculty Senate.
- acting as the central policy committee for the university-wide program.
- determining general criteria and procedures for submission and approval of Writing in the Major [M] courses. Receiving requests for the M-Courses and submitting them for final approval to the Faculty Senate through the Catalog Subcommittee of the Academic Affairs Committee.
- providing guidance and approving procedures used in university-wide writing assessments.
