November 3, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

This Brown Bag event is part of the Writing Program’s Speaker Series.

Mike Edwards and Mark Triana will describe the applications for peer learning technologies in upper-division and lower-division courses from different WSU majors. Their study investigated the usefulness of those technologies with writing-to-learn assignments and for improving student writing, with significant positive results. They offer a description of their pedagogical approaches and an overview of the versatile and easily managed technology for structuring highly productive group work and peer learning activities.
