eTutoring Available 24/7

A new online writing tutorial program available at became available for WSU students in January 2008. It replaced the former Online Writing Lab (OWL) that had been in service since 1995.

WSU is one of severalcolleges in the Northwest to participate in the eTutoring program. All WSU students are encouraged to use the system, including those in Pullman, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, and Yakima, plus all Distance Degree Programs students. This consortium effort is staffed with trained peer tutors from the participating schools are scheduled to staff the online operation.

Students submitting writing for help should get feedback from a trained tutor usually in 24 and 48 hours. Tutors may be from any participating college including WSU.
