Faculty Support for Teaching with Writing

The Writing Across the Curriculum / Writing in the Disciplines program:

  • Coordinates the efforts of faculty from across disciplines in providing opportunities for teaching with writing and learning through writing
  • Hosts one-time and ongoing faculty development workshops for teaching, teaching with, and assessing writing
  • Offers assignment review and feedback for faculty and instructors who teach with writing
  • Collaborates with faculty and staff across the university to ensure teaching with writing and assessment of writing in all WSU courses is equitable and effective.

Assignment Review Service Request

The Writing Program is offering this assignment review service for those of you teaching with writing. We recognize the challenge of creating writing assignments and we aim to offer support and resources as you revise and fine-tune for your classes.
